How QuranFlows teaches Quran vocabulary
QuranFlows teaches Quranic Arabic vocabulary through short, guided lessons. Each lesson introduces five words, then gives you practice connecting the Arabic with its meaning.
What is in the vocabulary course?
The vocabulary curriculum contains 535 entries across 107 lessons. Learning cards bring together Arabic text, transliteration, an English meaning, pronunciation audio and an example from a Quranic verse.
How a lesson works
- Learn: read and listen to each word, then see its meaning in context.
- Practise: answer questions and match Arabic words with their English meanings.
- Check your progress: see the words you learned in the lesson summary.
- Review: return to words that need more practice and strengthen your recall over time.
Learning beyond the vocabulary course
A separate guided course covers the 99 Names of Allah with learning cards, reflection, quizzes and review. The app also includes a free Quran reader and tools for prayer, dhikr and dua.
