How it works

Learn the words you recite

A one-minute look at how QuranFlows teaches the Quran’s most repeated words, and how it helps you keep them.

  • The 535 words that make up about 80% of all the words in the Quran
  • Five words a lesson, each heard aloud and seen in an ayah
  • Spaced reviews, so the words stay with you

What are you saying to Allah when you pray? You recite Al-Fatiha at least seventeen times a day, but a lot of us don’t know what the words mean.

Where do you start? The 535 most repeated words make up about 80% of all the words in the Quran. QuranFlows teaches you those exact words. Five words a lesson. You hear each one and see it in an ayah, like رَبّ, the Lord. You say it in every rak’ah.

Quick questions check what you remember, then see what percent of the Quran’s words you know.

But how do you stop forgetting them? With spaced repetition. Over three hundred experiments found spacing out reviews beats cramming (Cepeda et al., 2006, Psychological Bulletin). Every word comes back, and waits longer each time you get it right. Learning, Familiar, Strong, Mastered. Miss one, and it comes back sooner.

There’s a course on the 99 Names of Allah, a Quran reader, prayer times and more.

Oh, and did we mention? The 20 words in those four lessons make up about 32% of all the words in the Quran. You’ve literally got nothing to lose. If it’s not for you, delete the app. It won’t cost you a dime.
